On 29 January 2026, MAN Engines announced its role as the exclusive propulsion supplier for the new B.Neos yacht from Benetti, marking a significant step forward in hybrid yacht technology. Following the world premiere of the B.Neos in Cannes in 2025, full technical details now highlight the innovative hybrid drive system developed in close collaboration between the two companies.

The 40-metre B.Neos represents the latest generation of motor yachts from Benetti and introduces hybrid propulsion as a standard feature for the first time. At the core of the concept is the MAN Smart HYBRID Experience, an advanced system that combines high-performance diesel engines with integrated electric motors in a seamlessly coordinated drivetrain.

In the hybrid configuration, two MAN V8-900 engines, each delivering 662 kW (900 hp), operate alongside two 200 kW electric motors.
